Indian Upper House of Parliament Deputy Chairperson to Visit China
Najma Heptulla, president of Inter-Parliamentary Council and deputy chairperson of Rajya Sabha of
India
(Upper House of Parliament), will lead a friendship delegation of India for an official goodwill visit to China from July 1 to July 7.
Chinese Foreign Ministry
Spokeswoman Zhang Qiyue announced this at a regular press conference here Tuesday.
Heptulla is to visit China as guest of Chairman
Li Peng
of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress.
