Fifty people were injured, some of them seriously, Monday night when a bomb exploded outside the railway station in Jammu, winter capital of India-controlled Kashmir, the Press Trust of India (PTI) reported.
In a dispatch from Jummu, PTI said, the explosion occurred at 9. 10 PM local time on Monday in a parked three-wheel motor.
The entire area was sealed off and search was on for those behind the blast, suspected to be the handiwork of militants, while the injured were immediately rushed to Jammu medical hospital, said police in the area.
However, no militant organization has claimed responsibility for the incident as yet.
