Largest Drug Trafficking Case Tried in Hainan

People's court in Haikou City, capital of China's island Hainan Province, Monday tried a drug trafficking case involving seven suspects and 25 kg drugs recently.

It was the largest quantity of drugs ever seized in Hainan Province, said a local police officer.

The seven drug traffickers include: Zhang Ruifa, Zhang Chunlie, Zhang Bingkun, Zhuang Xifa, Zhang Shaomian, Lin Junwu, and Chen Shaocheng and they were found involving in the drug trafficking and sales last September and May.

The Hainan Provincial People's Procuratorate have already prosecuted the seven drug traffickers to the court.
