Waldner, Li Jiawei Make Debut in 2000-2001 International Challenge
Well-known paddler Jan-Ove Waldner from
Sweden
made his debut in the International Table Tennis Challenge in Hailar, Inner Mongolia, on June 23, beating China's 18-year- old Xu Hui 3-2.
In the following women's single match, Li Jiawei from
Singapore
beat Chinese paddler Lin Ling 2-1.
The next matches will be held on July 7 in Changzhou of
Jiangsu
province.
