Diplomats Visit Photo Exhibition on CPC's History
More than 1,000 foreign envoys, representatives of foreign governments and international organizations, and foreign experts visited, under a special arrangement, the ongoing photo exhibition in celebration of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China ( CPC).

The photo show is one of the largest events to mark the anniversary and the largest ever exhibition on the history of the CPC. The exhibits include over 1,500 photos and more than 400 relics.

"World-shaking changes have taken place in China over the past 80 years," said Gabriele Feigl, an attache of the Austrian Embassy. "I think this is mainly attributable to an increasingly strong CPC, " he said.

Dace Liberte, deputy head of the mission from the Embassy of the Republic of Latvia, discovered that all the photos about Old China are black and white, while color photos depict contemporary China. "From the black and white pictures, I learned about the history of China, but the color ones indicate that the life of Chinese people is becoming colorful," he told Xinhua.
