First Group of Tibetan Pilots to Fly Civil Flights

China's first group of Tibetan pilots will complete their training and begin to fly civil flights in the near future, said Wang Shixiang, general manger of the China Southwest Airlines.

Wang did not reveal the number of pilots or when they will start flying. Since the beginning of this year, 15 Tibetan women have joined the company to become the country's first group of Tibetan stewardesses.
