Armed Drug Trafficking Case Cracked in SW China
Police in
Yunnan
Province, southwest China, has cracked an armed drug trafficking case, capturing 9,200 grams of opium, a revolver, an air gun, a handgun and some bullets, with four suspects detained.
Police said they were checking motor vehicles on the night of June 12, when they stopped a motorcycle carrying a man and a woman, and found a revolver and a bag of opium inside it.
Acting on their confession, the police seized two of their confederates at a village in at the Dai Autonomous Prefecture of Xishuangbanna, and found the other guns and bullets at their residences.
