He said that he and Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra reached broad consensus during his visit to Thailand not long ago, adding that he is glad to see various departments of the two countries are now taking measures to implement cooperation projects. Zhu asked Pongpol to extend his greetings to Thaksin. Pongpol said that Zhu's previous visit to his country was a big success. He extended Thaksin's cordial greetings to Zhu. He said that the Thai government and various circles of the society attach great importance to friendly cooperative relations with China. Pongpol said that he believes the Thailand-China friendship will have good prospects. He also briefed Zhu on the implementation of cooperation projects between the two countries.
