Survey Shows Professionals in High Demand in Mainland, TaiwanA survey recently conducted by a manpower resources website indicates that professionals in IT engineering, finance and securities, business administration and marketing are still in high demand on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, a Taiwan local media reported on Friday.The report said that Taiwan's Website CTCareer has recently joined force with the manpower Website ChinaHR in the Chinese mainland to offer information on job opportunities. An analysis of job opportunities posted on the two websites shows that managers with MBA degree are offered the highest salaries plus bonus and allowances among all the employed population. The highest-paid professionals in the Chinese mainland are business managers, securities analysts, IT engineers and marketing specialists; while in the island province of Taiwan, the jobs with the highest income include IT engineers, financial analysts, marketing specialists and computer science research personnel. The survey shows that employees of the computer and Internet sectors topped the list of high-income groups on both sides of the Taiwan Strait before the burst of the Internet bubble. The highest paid sectors now are medical instruments, telecommunications, and electronics, the survey said.
