PLA Senior Official Meets DPRK Military Delegation
Li Yu, assistant to the chief of General Staff of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA), met Friday with a shooting team of the People's Army of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK).
The delegation, led by Director Jo Yongnam of the National Defense Sports Corps, started its China visit from June 15.
As close neighbors, China and DPRK boast traditional friendship between their peoples and armies, said Li, hoping that such friendship and cooperation will record even greater progress in the new century.
