HK Airport Upgrades Facilities For Passengers' Comfort

The Airport Authority (AA) of Hong Kong announced Thursday a major upgrade of terminal facilities and services at the Hong Kong International Airport, with an emphasis on relaxation and comfort for passengers.

Starting this summer, coffee counters, showers and napping area, mini-cinema and massage facilities will be just one of the new attractions aimed at creating a unique enjoyable airport experience for passengers and other airport users, AA Commercial Director Hans Bakker said.

The travelling public could also look forward to a total 8,300 square meter of new shops, restaurants cafes and other attractions being added to terminal over the next three years, according to Bakker.

The AA will also launch various web-based passenger services, including personalized fight information via email, advanced orders for retail merchandise, and restaurant reservation.
