Wall Collapse Accident Kills Four Pupils in Hunan

A wall around a primary school in Zhuzhou City, central China's Hunan Province collapsed Wednesday suddenly, killing four pupils.

Three others were severely injured and two slightly injured in the accident.

The injured pupils were rushed to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment.

At 10 £º 10 A.M. yesterday, a group of first-grade pupils were playing by the wall during the break when the two-meter-high wall collapsed. Consequently, five pupils were buried. Then teachers dialed the first-aid hotline. Police reached the accident site promptly.

Three seriously injured students are now still in a critical condition.

The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
