CPC's 80-Year History Hailed
The 80-year history of the Communist Party of China (CPC), especially the great achievements made in the past 20 years, have won the praises from a numerous social celebrities on Wednesday.
The Central Institute of Culture and History (CICH), an organization initiated by late Chinese leader Mao Zedong to unite together old scholars and social celebrities, held a forum this morning to mark the 80th anniversary of the founding of the CPC.
The CICH members reviewed the remarks given by three generations of the CPC's leadership, with Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping, and Jiang Zemin at the core respectively, as well as the Party's long-standing tradition of respecting talents and the elderly.
