China, Israel to Promote Personnel Training

China and Israel Tuesday signed an agreement on enchancing cooperation in personnel training and exchanges.

Wan Xueyuan, director of China's State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, and Itzhak Shelef, Israeli ambassador to China, signed the agreement.

The China Association for International Exchange of Personnel (CAIEP) and the Center for International Cooperation under the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs will undertake the joint training program.

Wan Xueyuan, also vice president of CAIEP, said he was satisfied with the personnel training cooperation between the two countries. He expressed the hope that bilateral cooperation be further expanded to many other fields.

Shelef said that the Embassy of Israel in China will play its part in promoting cooperation with China.
