HK Financial Secretary to Make First Official Overseas Visit
Financial Secretary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Antony Leung will depart for Europe on June 23, which will also be his first official overseas trip, the government said Tuesday.
During his five-day visit, Leung will visit the major financial centers of London and Frankfurt, and then visit Berlin and Brussels, the government said in a press release.
Leung will meet with officials responsible for financial affairs, politicians, bankers and businessmen in Britain, Germany and Belgium. He will attend editorial meetings with a number of major media organizations and give interviews to the local media.
Leung will wind up his visit in Brussels where he will officially open the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office.
