Chinese Vice Premier Meets Hong Kong Educational Delegation
Chinese Vice Premier
Li Lanqing
Tuesday met with a
Hong Kong
delegation comprised of heads of Hong Kong middle schools and college students.
Li made an introduction on reform and development of basic education in inland areas.
He also expressed the hope that the education sectors in Hong Kong and the interior areas of China would enhance cooperation to achieve new development.
Li pointed out that basic education is very important to raise people's comprehensive ability. College students, hope of the country and nation, will play a key role in the future.

Ministry of Education
, the delegation is here to attend a seminar on education reform in 21st century.
