Sacred Torch of New Century Enkindled

The torch relay with the theme as "Enter the New Era" enkindled the "Sacred Flame of the New Century" of the 9th National Game at the China Century Altar Square June 18, witnessing the second followed the like event in Shenzhen this 10th.

Being the biggest event before the curtain-up of the said game, it will shine the brightest flame when the sacred torches of New Era and Civilization come together to be at Tiananmen Square September 11.

The picture depicts a girl who is enkindling the flame box with the sacred flame of New Century held by the Olympic champion Xu Haifeng.
