International Auto Show Opens in Shanghai
The Ninth Shanghai International Auto Show opened in Shanghai on June 18. More than 700 auto plants from 23 countries and regions gathered in the exhibition hall with different new styles of limousines, roadsters, land-cruisers, trucks, passenger cars and spare parts on display. It is reported that the exhibition covers an area of 50,000 square meters, up by 25 percent over the previous show. It is the largest exhibition with over a half of the exhibition floors taken by exhibitors from foreign countries.
During the seven-day auto show, sponsors of Shanghai International Exhibition Company and Adsale Exhibition Service Ltd. will organize some activities, such as hundred auto fans to view, try and purchase cars on the spot and the fourth auto environmental protection workshop, etc.
