A seminar on the northeast Asian economy opened Monday in Qingdao, a port city in east China's Shandong Province.
Fifteen local government delegations from China, Russia, Japan, the Republic of Korea and Mongolia are participating in the seminar.
The seminar, hosted by Shandong Provincial Government, will discuss regional economic cooperation in the northeast Asia area, and promotion of scientific and cultural exchange.
Participants will discuss regional cooperation on resources, tourism, infrastructure construction, manufacture, agriculture and information technology at the seminar.
