Exim Bank Provides Sellers Credit for Two Companies

The Export and Import Bank of China (Exim Bank) Monday signed agreements with two companies to provide them with 500-million yuan worth of loan credit to support their export of electronic products.

The two companies, the Qingdao Hisense (Group) Corporation and the Guangdong Fenghua Hi-Tech Group, are electronic companies manufacturing export-oriented products, such as digital products, electronic components and equipment.

Since being set up in 1994, the Exim bank has played an important role in promoting the country's foreign trade, using policy-oriented financial tools.

By the end of May this year, the bank had provided export sellers credit worth 150.76 billion yuan and 286 million U.S. dollars to companies, supporting export of 41.8 billion U.S. dollars worth of electronics products.
