China to Conduct Anti-Dumping Investigations into L-Lysine

China's Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation (MOFTEC) has decided to carry out anti-dumping investigations, starting from June 19, into its import of the feed-class L-lysine monohydrocyloride made in the United States, the Republic of Korea and Indonesia, said sources with the MOFTEC.

The MOFTEC will work with China's Customs to conduct investigations into the fact and concerned ratio, and the State Economic and Trade Commission will work with relative departments of the State Council to learn the damages resulting from the dumping.

The taxation codes of the products covered in the investigations are published as 29224110 and 29224190.

The investigations should conclude within a year, but may be extended to as long as 18 months.
