Jia Qinglin Returns from Moscow

Jia Qinglin, secretary of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), returned to Beijing Saturday from Moscow after attending the "Beijing Culture Festival" held in the Russian capital.

Jia, who is also a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, attended the cultural festival and paid a goodwill visit to Moscow at the invitation of its mayor Yuri Mikhailovich Luzhkov.

The two city leaders also held talks on the exchanges and cooperation between Beijing and Moscow, which established a friendly relationship of sisterhood in May 1995. Enditem
