Vice-Premier Meets Guests from HK General Chamber of Commerce
Chinese Vice-Premier Li Lanqing met with a 37-member delegation of Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce, headed by the chamber chairman Christopher W C Cheng, Thursday.

Li made an introduction on reform and development in inland area and exchanged views on issues of common concern with the guests, who are invited by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.

The Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1861. With over 4,000 corporate members, it is the oldest business organization in Hong Kong.

The chamber is international in character, comprising of multinational companies, Chinese mainland companies and Hong Kong companies.
