Jiang Ming, Young Chinese Entrepreneur Won GYE Award

The curtain of the 8th World Summit of Youth Entrepreneurs has just fallen in Brussels and awards was given at the summit for the Global Young Entrepreneurs (GYE) for 2001. China's Jiang Ming, Chairman of Pcsailing Group, member of the standing committee of the Chinese Youth League and standing councilor of the Chinese Young Entrepreneurs Association, won the prize, the first Chinese who has got the honor.

Aiming at rewarding the global young entrepreneurs in the previous year, the prize will be awarded to those who have made great contributions to one's business through his own efforts and who are very creative, enthusiastic in public affair and outstanding in his profession. China nominated 4 young entrepreneurs to take part in the selection.

The summit is the UN's global partnership project sponsored by governments of all countries, multilateral institutions and transnational corporations. Up to now, the summit has been held seven times and this is the second time for China to participate.
