Chinese, Mongolian to Cooperate on Army Logistics

Chinese and Mongolian armed forces have seen frequent exchanges and cooperation in recent years, which has promoted the mutual understanding, trust and friendship between the two armed forces, a Chinese general in charge of logistics said Wednesday.

Wang Ke, director of the General Logistics Department of the People's Liberation Army, made the remarks in a meeting with General D. Magsarjav, deputy chief of general staff of Mongolian armed force, who is in charge of logistics of Mongolian army.

During the meeting, Wang also briefed Magsarjav on the logistic construction of the PLA.

Magsarjav said that marked progress has been made in bilateral relations, hoping that two sides continue to enhance military exchanges and cooperation, especially in logistics.

Magsarjav is here accompanying Mongolian Defense Minister Jugderdemidiin Gurragchaa, who is on a China tour at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart Chi Haotian.
