Officials of Candidate Cities Gathered at Mombasa
Invited by the 9th Africa Olympic Committee Convention scheduled June 13-14 in Mombasa, Kenya, representatives from Beijing, Paris, Toronto and Osaka have already been in the port city.
Officials with BOBICO set up an excellent exhibit platform for publicity work soon after they got their destination on the evening of June 11.
Sources say that Istanbul's mission has also been among the attendees at the 2-day Mombasa convention. During the conference, 100-odd representatives from 53 member countries will focus on making amendment to their Convention Charter, election of Chairman, secretary-general and executive board committee members and work for a coordinated stand to decide on the host city of 2008 Olympic Games in Moscow July 13.
