FIBA Officials Made Inspection Tour to Jiangsu

June 11 saw two officials of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) and Wang Du, vice-director of the State General Administration of Sports make an inspection tour to Taicang, Jiangsu Province, checking on the preparation work for the 14th FIBA Women's World Championships to be held there in 2002.

After a careful check-up of all facilities in Taicang Gymnasium, the officials appreciated greatly the preparation work and offered some suggestions.

The 14th FIBA Women's World Championships will be held in China's Jiangsu Province in 2002 and Taicang Gymnasium is one of the contesting grounds for the match.
