China, Belgium Jointly Issue Stamps

The postal administrations of China and Belgium jointly issued one set of two stamps named Pottery and Porcelain Tuesday.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries and the joint issue of stamps is to promote friendship and understanding of the peoples in the two countries.

It is the first time the two countries jointly issue stamps.

The stamps, the Color Pottery Vase and the Coffee Pot with Mixed Glaze, both made in ancient times, show the exquisite art of pottery and porcelain.
