The front of a cold air, originating from the middle of Siberia, has moved close to north China, which will bring the region showers or thundershowers between Monday and Thursday, according to an expert from the SMC.
Another cold current of the same origin will come to the region from June 14 through 18, which will also help bring down the hot temperatures, which have annoyed the region.
Since the beginning of June, most parts of north China have suffered abnormally high temperatures, 3 to 5 Celsius degrees higher than average for the same period in past years, and some places were even hit by unprecedented record highs of nearly 40 degrees Celsius.
