Li spoke highly of the achievements made by the Park in the past seven years in terms of self development, attracting overseas investors and learning from Singapore's experiences, and he also praised Lee's important contribution to the development of the Park.

He is confident that the Park will yield more results in the future with concerted efforts from both sides.

Lee expressed his delight with the Park's progress and his confidence in bilateral cooperative prospects.

He noted that he has visited China many times, and each time he has been able to find new accomplishments in China, hoping that China would achieve greater development in the future.

Li briefed Lee on China's development plans and the strategy of developing the country's vast west areas.

He stressed that China is pushing forward its socialist cause with Chinese characteristics and there is still a long way to go for China's economic development.

They also exchanged in-depth views on international issues of common concern.
