Chinese Vice Premier Meets Algerian Delegation

Vice Premier Wen Jiabao met Monday with a delegation led by Mohamed Boukhalfa, a member of the Political Bureau of the Algerian Party of the National Liberation Front (NLF).

Wen, also a member of the Political Bureau of the Chinese Communist Party (CPC) Central Committee, spoke highly of the friendly cooperative relations between China and Algeria, saying that the CPC is willing to further enhance exchanges and cooperation with the NLF Party, in an effort to promote the all-round development of bilateral ties.

The vice-premier also briefed the Algerian guests on China's domestic situation and its reform and opening up.

Boukhalfa and his delegation arrived here Sunday for a goodwill visit as guests of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee.
