Airplane Rushed off Runway with One Injured

An airplane rushed out of the runway after landing in Beijing Capital International Airport on June 10, although no casualties were reported, some flights were delayed due to the accident.

The flight, 3U601, took off from Chengdu at 8:50, stopped via Beijing at 11:07 to terminate in Harbin. With 50 passengers on board some got off in Beijing, and most passengers are bound for Harbin.

After landing, the plane rushed straight to the end of the runway and made a sharp turn at a byway, finally landed in a lawn, causing smoke in cabin and noise beneath the plane body. Only a senior expert got injured with a piece of skin rubbing off his left knee.

Due to the accident, the runway was closed offhandedly, causing delay for some flights from yesterday afternoon to evening.
