Pakistan Supports Unity, Sovereignty of China: President
Pakistani President Muhmmmad Rafiq Tarar said Friday, "We support the unity and integrity of China and both the countries will continue to play their role for regional and global peace."
Tarar made the remarks while talking to Dai Bingguo, head of the International Liaison Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), who is leading a CPC delegation visiting Pakistan.
The president said that Pak-China friendship guarantees stability, lasting peace and progress of the region.
He acknowledged that China has been extending full support to important projects for the reconstruction and development of Pakistan and this is still continuing.
He said, "We are proud of our friendship with China which is being strengthened day by day."
