Premier Zhu Greets Blair's Reelection as British PM
Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji on Friday congratulated Tony Blair on his reelection as British prime minister, and expressed the hope for further development of the Sino-British comprehensive partnership.
In his message of congratulation, Zhu said, "On behalf of the Chinese government and in my own name, I extend heartfelt congratulations to you and wish you scoring new achievements in the new tenure."
"We hope and believe that with our joint efforts, the Sino- British comprehensive partnership will be constantly developed and fortified," he said.
