A trade fair, which opened Friday in Hangzhou, is offering 2000 projects to attract investment to this east China province of Zhejiang.
A total of 5000 businesses from world famous companies like Canon and Philips in 50 countries and regions attended the fair, sources said.
With a total expected investment of 6.6 billion US dollars, the 2000 projects involve the fields of infrastructure, machinery, electronics, medicine, chemicals, light textiles and agriculture.
Statistics show that 18,339 overseas-funded enterprises had been established in the province by the end of last year, involving a total investment of 43.6 billion US dollars. And 53 out of the World's Top 500 Companies had set up 82 enterprises in the province.
