Mexican President Arrives in Beijing

President Vincente Fox Quesada of the United States of Mexico arrived in Beijing at noon Wednesday for a 4-day state visit to China as guest of Chinese President Jiang Zemin.

This is Fox's first visit to China after he took presidency last year.

Besides Beijing, Fox and his entourage are also scheduled to visit Xi'an, capital of northwest China's Shaanxi Province, and Shanghai, China's biggest economic hub.
