Chinese Encouraged to Use Reclaimable Resources in Offices

Chinese government encourages people to use reclaimable resources in offices in order to save energy and protect the environment.

"By this simple measure, we can reduce pollution and increase our economic benefits," said Song Ruixiang, deputy director of the State Environmental Protection Administration.

In the past few months, many companies have followed the advice. Since the beginning of this year, four Beijing institutions have collected five tons of waste paper, which can be recycled into another 4,000 kg of new paper and equals the saving of 85 trees.

Experts said one piece of paper can be recycled at least twice.
