Pakistan Honors All Agreements, Resolutions on Kashmir: FM

Pakistani Foreign Minister Abdul Sattar said on Tuesday that Pakistan honors all agreements and resolutions on Kashmir, of which it has been a party, including the UN resolutions, the Simla Agreement and the Lahore Declaration.

Sattar made the remarks at a press conference in Lahore, according to a news dispatch received here.

He said the Kashmir issue has been the main irritant in the establishment of good relations between Pakistan and India for the last 54 years, both the countries should try to find out the solution in accordance with the wishes of people of Kashmir.

He said there should be flexibility with regard to finding ways and means to address the Kashmir issue.

He said Kashmir's major militant group the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has demanded of a tripartite dialogue for the resolution of Kashmir issue involving Pakistan, India and the Kashmiris. "Pakistan has always supported their demand for tripartite dialogue," he added.
