Chinese Government Donates Books on Environmental Protection to SchoolsThe State Environmental Protection Administration (SEPA) Monday donated environmental protection books to 105 green schools to cultivate students' environmental protection awareness."We hope, by this action, that each green school will have green books, so that students can enjoy more and better education on environmental protection," according to an official with SEPA. The so-called green schools emphasize environmental protection awareness in schools, educating students to love nature and be responsible for the environment. Up to now, some 3,400 green schools have been named in China since 1996, when the suggestion of creating such schools came into being. |
