Chinese, Nigerien Businessmen Discuss CooperationChinese and Nigerien businessmen gathered Tuesday to discuss enhancement of contacts and cooperation, as well as other issues of common interest.At a seminar organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), Nigerien Minister of Commerce and Industry Seyni Oumarou expressed willingness to enhance trade and economic cooperation with China. "Chinese entrepreneurs are welcome to invest in Niger," said Oumarou, "and we will give them our full support." Oumarou said he believed the seminar will help Nigerien and Chinese entrepreneurs to enhance contacts and promote cooperation. The 22 Nigerien businessmen are here accompanying President Mamadou Tandja on his 12-day working visit to China. They are from textile, building material, farm produce processing and motor industries.
