Senior PLA Officer Meets Italian Guests
Kui Fulin, deputy chief of the General Staff of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, met Tuesday with Di Capua Roberto, director general of Signal Corps department of the Italian defense ministry, and his party.
Kui said that Italy is an important country in west Europe, and developing Sino-Italian relations conforms to the fundamental interest of the two peoples, and benefits world peace and stability.
Chinese armed forces are willing to expand cooperation with their Italian counterpart, Kui said.
Roberto said that Italy attaches importance to developing relations with China and its armed forces, and hopes to expand bilateral cooperation.
