China Discovers 20,000 Fake Product Cases in 30 Days
China has achieved remarkable progress in a nationwide campaign to regulate the market order. Over the past month, 20,000 fake product cases were found, involving 400 million yuan in value.
The General Administration for Industry and Commerce, along with local authorities, has focused on fighting against the fake means of agricultural production, illegal pyramid sales and monopoly.
During the period, 280,000 law enforcement officials examined some 30,000 markets and shut down over 2,000 illegal manufacturing places.
"We found over 9,300 cases involving fake agricultural production means valued at 123 million yuan," according to an official with the administration.
