7th APEC Trade Ministers Meeting ExpectedThe 7th APEC (http://www.apecsec.org.sg/) Trade Ministers Meeting is to be held in Shanghai on June 6-7. According to latest schedule, Shi Guangsheng, chairman of this conference and minister with the MOFTEC, is to hold nine bilateral talks with the WTO Director-General and representatives from other countries June 5.A 50-minute talk with US trade representative Robert Zoellick has been arranged at noon, claiming to be the longest amid all meetings this time. Shi's conversation with WTO Director-General Michael Moore will begin at about four o'clock in the afternoon, expecting half an hour. More bilateral talks will also be held with representatives from Brunei, Chili, ROK, Viet-nam, Australia and Thailand.
