China to Issue Long-term T-Bond
The
Ministry of Finance
on June 4 issued a 15-year term of T-bond which comprises of four batches in the Interbank bond market with a total value of 12 billion yuan and a face interest rate of 4.69 percent by public bidding.
The Ministry will begin counting interest rate on June 6 and stop issuance on June 12. The bond will be issued to investors of the Interbank bond market.
It is for the first time that the Ministry of Finance issued a 15-year term bond with a long-term fixed interest rate, which will play an active role in building China's T-bond and capital market.
