Hongkong Post to Participate in Belgica 2001
Hongkong Post, represented by its philatelic agent Nordfrim, will participate in an international stamp exhibition "Belgica 2001" in Belgium, according to Luk Ping- chuen, postmaster general of Hong Kong, Friday.
"Hong Kong's participation will help promote Hong Kong Special Administrative Region stamps to overseas philatelists," said Luk.
The exhibition, organized by the Belgian Post in commemoration of "500 Years European Post", will be held at The International Convention and Exhibition Center, Brussels, Belgium from June 9 to 15.
Hongkong Post will issue a cachet for the exhibition. Stamping of philatelic items by the cachet will be available locally starting from June 9.
