Yunnan Governor Li Jiating Resigns
The Standing Committee of the Ninth Provincial People's Congress of
Yunnan
in southwest China has accepted Friday the resignation of governor Li Jiating.
The provincial legislative body made the decision at its 22nd meeting Friday.
The meeting also appointed Xu Rongkai as Yunnan's vice-governor and the acting governor.
