China to Raise Public Awareness of Law: Official

China will continue its bid to spread among its population knowledge about the law and the legal system during the first decade of this century, a senior official said Thursday. Children Enjoy Special Physical Jerks in Ganzi

Students of Zhendu Elementary School in Niba Village of Luhuo County, Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Ganzi in Sichuan Province, perform the ethnical dances under the accompaniment of brisk music during their break time on May 30, 2001. As Tibetan dances are popular here and the children prefer to dance rather than physical jerks, the school supervisors made it a rule to dance during the break, which was welcome by the local children.
