A Show of International Works on Art and Science Opened in Beijing
A two-week Show of "International Work on Art and Science", sponsored by Tsinghua University, was opened in the Fine Art Museum in Beijing on May 31 for celebrating the 90th anniversary of the founding of Tsinghua University.
Exhibited here are altogether 566 excellent works from 32 academies of 16 countries, including 154 works from foreign lands and 412 domestic ones. Meanwhile, the "International Academic Forum on Art and Science" will also be held in Tsinghua University.
Present at the opening ceremony of the Show of "International Works on Art and Science" were Li Ruihuan, Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Qian Weichang and Zhu Guangya, Vice-Chairmen of Ninth CPPCC National Committee, Zheng Wantong, secretary-general of the CPPCC National Committee, Chen Zhili, Minister of Education, and some others.
