Sail to be Unveiled, Price Not Over 100,000 Yuan
The Buick Sail sedan will find sale on markets in June, says Beijing DSH Auto Co., Ltd, Buick retailer authorized by Shanghai GM, adding that the basic model Sail SL will be definitely priced within 100,000 yuan, and the deluxe model Sail SLXAT would cost no more than 125,000 yuan.
Differences between the two models chiefly lie in the gearbox and wheel boss, one is manual F15 in five speeds, 14-inch steel wheel boss, while the other is automatic AF 13 in four speeds, 14-inch aluminum wheel boss. Other differences only lie in inside decoration.
If things go smoothly Buick Sail would be unveiled no later than June, and orders for 4,000 cars have been received.
