Forex Cashier System to Be Put into Trial Use June 1

The State Administration of Foreign Exchange (SAFE) and the Customs General Administration lately announced that a new Forex Cashier System is to be put into trial use starting June 1 in China.

A big role will be played by the Cashier in striking crimes as tax evasion and forgery of counterfeits or phony bills in a bid for rendering quality services by management departments and cutting costs by trading enterprises, according to the two developers said.

It is learned that the Cashier had been put on demonstration operation in Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai and Guangzhou in February and March this year. SAFE so far has a guide to the Cashier and a system regarding enterprise management brought out as two sub-systems on official web www.safe.gov.cn for the convenience of enterprises. As reported, over 400,000 enterprises engaging in import and export trade can obtain free information from the web.
